GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK 2010

NOVEMBER 15-19

For one week, millions of young people around the world join a growing movement to generate new ideas and to seek better ways of doing things. The Center for Global Issues, Campus Y, Carolina Dining Services, Carolina Union Activities Board, Carolina Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship Minor, and Innovate@Carolina are sponsoring a week-long series designed to inspire students to embrace imagination, innovation and creativity. To think big. To turn their ideas into reality.

All events are free but some do require registration when space is limited.

Monday – 11/15

Event: Kick-off discussion with Buck Goldstein – the innovation university
Light refreshments provided
Description: Discussion about Carolina and how the university is catalyst for innovation to address the world’s problems.
Location: Carolina Union – West lounge

Event: Teambuilding Seminar – Carolina Leadership Development
Description: Learn how to work with groups to make them stronger and more effective.
